        At the time of the 1901 English Census, Julian Morcom was 50 years old (b 1851, Altarnun, Cornwall, England), widowed (some time between 1885 and 1901), and living at 39 Barbican Street, also the site of his Coffee House.  Living with him were his son, Frank J. (26), waiter at the Coffee House; daughter-in-law, Agnes F. (27); daughters: Caroline M. (24) and Mildred H. (20), both waitresses at the Coffee House; sons: Herbert B. (19) and Clement A. (16); and four servants.

        Elizabeth Penhaligon Babb married Julian Boase Morcom in Sep 1908, in the Hackney District, London, England.  

        Elizabeth was considered a second mother (Auntie Morcom), by Bessie Beesley, her sister Grace's daughter.  Elizabeth was 53 years old when she visited Bessie and her husband, Charles Petitjean, in Waterbury, CT, in 1914. She traveled on the S.S. Olympic, arriving on 6 May 1914.

DEATH: Elizabeth died in a house fire at 10 Elia Street, Islington, London, England, on 9 Jul 1946. She was 85 years old.

        At the time of the 1901 English Census, Grace was 35 years old, and living with her husband, Charles (34), their son Frederick Charles (7), their daughters: Bessie (9), and Florence May (5), her sister, Elizabeth Ann Babb (listed as Ann Elizabeth) (40), and her brother-in-law, John William Babb (45), a wheelwright.  They lived at 11 Benyon Road, London, St. Andrews (Source: RG13/227; District 28; Page: 33). Charles' occupation was listed as Compositor, Print.

        Grace and Charles had five children: Bessie Lilian (b 30 Aug 1891, d 16 Aug 1949), Frederick Charles (b 28 Mar 1894, d 25 Nov 1973), Florence May (b 1896, d 18 May 1961), Robert William (b Apr 1901, d 18 Aug 1901), and William Robert (b 1904, d 23 Mar 1909).

        Grace and Charles' last address in London was 128 Compton Buildings, Goswell Square.

DEATH: Grace died at the age of 69, at the Archway Hospital, Islington.
